The racially diverse and gay-friendly community of South Beach, at the tip of Miami Beach, celebrates one of the world's largest gatherings of African-American and Latin Gay Pride, Miami Beach Bruthaz, in mid-July (the dates in 2012 are July 19 to July 22). The four-day event includes a a pool party, a Swimwear and Underwear Fashion Show, happy hour gatherings, pulsing parties running into the early hours of each night, and a Sunday beach party and drag show.
