San Antonio Gay Pride (known alternatively as both PrideFest San Antonio and Alamo PrideFest, takes in mid-June each year at HemisFair Park. Held in the second-largest city in Texas (although one of the more conservative ones), San Antonio Gay Pride has nonetheless been going strong for nearly three decades and draws big numbers of spectators and participants. In 2009, San Antonio Gay Pride takes place on Saturday, June 13, from noon until 10 pm.
