One of the world's great capital cities, Rome, Italy hosted EuroPride a couple of years ago and continues to host a popular Pride celebration, although as of this writing the dates for 2013 hadn't yet been announced. Check back, as information will be provided as it's made public. EuroPride, by the way, takes place in the coastal French city of Marseille, commencing on July 20, 2013.

Although unaffiliated with Pride, Rome does have a very fun summer-long Gay Village, which begins June 15, 2013 and lasts well into September. The sprawling GLBT social and entertainment spot in the Testaccio district pulses with events and parties at gay bars, terraces, and theaters.
