Lazing on the beach in the French Riviera, Nice, France

With a small but vibrant gay club scene and a number of gay-friendly accommodations, the French Riviera city of Nice has miles of pebbly but picturesque beaches. Nice is close to Cannes (famous for its film festival) and Monte Carlo, Monaco, and it's home to some first-rate museums, countless sidewalk cafes, a gorgeous farmers market, and block after block of fine shopping.
