Jerome Artists Cooperative

Walk through the scenic, compact downtown of Jerome, Arizona, and you'll spy a number of art galleries - pictured here just down Main Street is the impressive Jerome Artists Cooperative (502 Main St., 928-639-4276), a rambling space founded in 1996 and containing the diverse and eclectic works of some 30 artisans who live in the area, working in paper, wood, jewelry, paints, photography, and many other media. For a chance to meet many local artists in town, attend the Jerome Art Walk (first Saturday of each month, at 5 pm until 8 pm).
