Admiral's Inn and Hotel

A short drive from the beach, the dapper Admiral's Inn and Hotel comprise an original 16-room inn and a new (in June 2007) 28-room hotel behind the original building. The 44-room property is one of Ogunquit's most gay-popular and reliable options, and it's within a short walk of the Ogunquit Playhouse, Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce visitor center, Maine Street gay bar, and numerous village businesses. Rooms in the inn and adjacent carriage house - both of which received massive renovations in the past few years, are smartly furnished with a contemporary, clean feel - many have private decks, and some are pet-friendly. You can save a little money by opting for one of the two rooms that share a bathroom. The hotel, which overlooks a large in-ground pool, offers similarly elegant rooms with marble-accent bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and TVs with DVD players.
