Fort Lauderdale's popular Stonewall Summer Pride Festival and Parade takes place June 21 and June 22, 2014. The festival is held in the small city of Wilton Manors, which many visitors to Fort Lauderdale know as the bustling hub of Broward County's gay nightlife, retail and dining scene.
The festival, which has free admission, starts on Saturday late afternon, with performances well into the evening. The next day, Sunday, the festival takes place from noon until evening, along Wilton Drive, the community's lively commercial thoroughfare, from Five Points to Northeast 20th Street. For part of the festivals there's also a Children's Pride Park with games and family activities.
The festivities include the Stonewall Summer Pride Twilight Parade, which runs along Wilton drive at on Sunday early evening.
