Las Vegas has both a gay gym-sex club, Hawks Gym (953 E. Sahara Ave., east end of complex, 702-731-4295), and - in the same shopping center - a slightly more lavish bathhouse called Entourage. Hawks, pictured here, is beside the Vegas LGBT Center along the same strip of buildings that includes the Badlands Saloon gay bar. It's all part of the Commercial Center, a seedy and rather downcast shopping center a couple of miles east of where the Strip bumps into downtown, where you'll also find a bunch of Asian restaurants (among them the long-favorite of foodies, Lotus of Siam, an amazingly good Thai eatery), some dive bars, two big wig shops, some hetero massage parlors...well, you get the idea.

The exterior of Hawks is pictured here (not sure what the "Memories" sign on the top of the building refers to, but it's an amusing word to have pasted above a sex club). Inside you'll find the usual mix of lockers, private rooms (with monitors showing porn), workout areas, showers, and a steamroom, plus a lounge and a nicely stocked boutique selling lube, sex supplies, and the like. Hawks pulls in a decidedly older, butch crowd. Entourage (in the same shopping center, but at the opposite northwest corner as Hawks, 702-650-9191) is better known and more substantial, and it draws more sizable and varied crowds. Of the two, Entourage (formerly known as Apollo Spa) caters to more tourists and buffed-and-bronzed types, although neither establishment is particularly known for attitude. Entourage has a nice layout, too - a large pool, 60 private rooms, and an Internet cafe.

In 2012, Hawks opened a gay bathhouse in sex club in Oregon, Hawks PDX.
