This strip of businesses is rife with gay hangouts, among them Garbo piano bar (around the corner on Pulpito), trendy Apaches lounge and bistro (Olas Altas 439), Cafe San Angel creperie (Olas Altas 449), and Cafe Tizoc Mexican restaurant (Olas Altas 474). Sama tends to be the most fun early in the evening, before revelers head off to late-night hot spot, Club Manana.
