Within an easy walk of the shops, restaurants, and hotels at Whistler Upper Village, the Blackcomb base area comprises the base lodge pictured here, where you can buy lift tickets and season passes (you can also purchase them here), and rent skis and snowboards. Just steps from this building, the Wizard Express chair carries skiers up onto Blackcomb Mountain (just hop the Solar Coaster Express from the Wizard, if you're trying to reach the Rendezvous Ski Lodge and Peak 2 Peak Gondola).
