Rather impressively, F Street Adult Video & Gifts (2004 University Ave., 619-298-2644) has been a fixture among fans of porn, sex toys, lube, and racy adult treasures since the mid-'70s. The regional chain has eight locales, and the one pictured here, on University Avenue in the western edge of North Park (very close to Hillcrest) tends to draw the highest percentage of GLBT customers. The selection of gay videos and mags is actually marginal - it's more hetero. But this is still a reliable place to stock up on gear, cock rings, S&M stuff, condoms, and the like, and it's right next door to the popular neighborhood gay bar, Pecs (619-296-0889) - now that's handy.
