Club San Diego, gay bathhouse on 4th Avenue in Hillcrest

Of San Diego's two gay bathhouses, Club San Diego (3955 4th Ave., 619-295-0850) has the location that's most central to the gay scene, as it's smack in the middle of Hillcrest, just a block off the main clubbing thoroughfare, University Avenue (pictured here is the rather discreet entrance). The good-size cruise-fest comprises a couple of levels of action, with about 50 rooms and all the usual bathhouse facilities - multi-player hot tub, maze-like hallways, video areas screening the latest inspirational porn, lockers, a gym.
