The venerable Margot Cafe & Bar (1017 Woodland St., 615-227-4668), the sister restaurant of nearby Marche cafe and coffeehouse, draws fans of authentic French and Italian bistro fare to East Nashville. This domain of talented chef Margot McCormack and her partner, Heather Parsons, this charming little spot is known for such memorable dishes as coq au vin, duck rillettes, and pear tarte tatin. It's hard to think of a more romantic setting in Nashville for a dinner with someone special.
