Broadway's Honky Tonk Row, downtown

By , About.com Guide

Broadway is Nashville's honky-tonk row, especially around the intersection with 4th Avenue South, where you'll find a whole slew of rollicking live-music clubs, record shops, western-wear stores, barbecue joints, and more. Some highlights include Tootsie's, Second Fiddle, Robert's Western Wear, Jack's Bar-B-Que (some of the best in town), and the Stage (all pictured here, with the BellSouth 'Batman' Building in the background, rising high above the city). You'll find a number of other noteworthy spots in the vicinity, including Merchant's Restaurant and Bar, Ernest Tubb Record Shop, the Hatch Show Print store, Broadway Brewhouse, Lawrence Record Shop, Cadillac Ranch, Glo.balCafe, American Apparel, Paradise Park, and the Sommet Center sports arena. The Ryman Auditorium is right around the corner.
