Le Pain Quotidien, 7th Avenue

The wonderful Belgian chain of bakeries, Le Pain Quotidien (124 7th Ave., 212-255-2777) has a number of outposts in New York City, including the gay-popular Chelsea branch on 7th Avenue that's pictured here. It's a good bet for organic coffees and teas, creative sandwiches made on fresh bread, and a wide range of delectable sweets. It's just up the street from Tasti D-Lite and across from the see-and-be-seen Cafeteria Restaurant. There are similarly gay-popular Le Pain Quotidiens in a number of cities, including Paris (in the Marais) and West Hollywood (the branch on Melrose Avenue)
