As Las Vegas has grown rapidly over the years, and mega-resorts have popped up all along the Las Vegas Strip, road traffic has become more and more congested in the area. Fortunately, at many busy intersections, sky bridges connect casinos and carry pedestrians over the traffic. It's generally wise to avoid driving on the Strip on weekend evenings and during rush hour, and better yet avoid it all together by using back entrances to casinos, cabs, and your legs - a little exercise never hurt, and is actually a pretty good way to burn off some of those calories you'll likely gain in Sin City.
This photos is taken from the sky bridge that crosses The Strip (Las Vegas Boulevard) on the north side of Tropicana Avenue - it connects the MGM Grand and New York-New York casinos, and from this vantage point, you're looking south to see Tropicana Casino on the left side of Las Vegas Boulevard, and Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay casinos on the right side of the street.
