A view looking south from Sandia Crest of the Sandia mountain range and, on the right side of the photo, the edge of the city of Albuquerque. This view is from near the platform of the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway, the longest in the world. A short stroll north of the platform is the popular High Finance restaurant, which has similarly amazing view if less impressive food - it's a better option for the casual burgers and sandwiches served at lunch. Also from this point you can access Sandia Peak's downhill skiing in winter, and mountain biking during the warmer months. It's also possible to hike to this point from the base of the Sandias via La Luz Trail.
