You can help to support a great cause by attending a pretty fabulous-sounding gala in late September - just purchase a ticket for the ASF (AIDS Services Foundation Orange County) Annual Gala, "A Night in South Beach", at Disney California Adventure theme park. This is just a week before Gay Days Anaheim bring some 35,000 LGBT folks to Disneyland resort and theme park over the weekend of October 5 through 7 - it's a great time to visit the region.
The Annual Gala, with its South Beach Deco-inspired theme, is held at Disney California Adventure's Stage 17 and includes food, drink, a live auction featuring a number of great items (a chance to ride in the Goodyear Blimp, a three-night vacation in the actual South Beach in Florida), and discounted admission to Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure. You can also book a discounted overnight stay at Disney's Grand Californian Spa & Hotel, in conjunction with attending the gala. The gala takes place from 6 until 10 pm, and tickets start at $300 per person, with valet parking included.
