In honor of the 43rd anniversary of the extraordinary Stonewall Riots on June 28, 1969 in New York City's Greenwich Village, some of the largest cities in the U.S. are holding their Gay Pride celebrations this year. Of course, New York City Gay Pride is one of the top events, with parties and a huge parade this weekend.
Some other cities with Gay Pride Festivals and Parades this weekend include Chicago, Cleveland (which is readying to host the Gay Games in 2014), Houston, Minnesota's Twin Cities, St. Louis, San Francisco, Santa Fe, and Seattle.
Happy celebrating to all of you attending one of these events, and check out the June Pride calendar for links to more events taking place this weekend and next, as well as the July and August calendars for more Pride events held throughout the rest of this summer.
