Hot Hotel Deals For Valentine's Day in Denver

Tuesday February 5, 2008

Denver's historic Capitol Hill Mansion B&B; photo by Andrew CollinsSeveral gay-friendly hotels in the Mile High City have unveiled enticing romance packages for Valentine's Day, and at other times in February. The GLBT hub of the Rockies, Denver has become a hot getaway these days, thanks to its wealth of hip restaurants and shops, a friendly yet energetic gay club scene, and outstanding cultural draws (a new art museum, a stunning performing arts center). It's also a great overnight or two-day stopover if you're planning a trip out to Aspen, Telluride, Vail, or one of the other great Colorado ski towns known for their powdery slopes and festive gay ski weeks.

Here's my overview on gay-friendly hotels and inns in Denver. Among gay-popular properties offering great deals this time of year, the Hotel Monaco Denver has a Lucky in Love package that includes rose-petal turndown, breakfast in bed, and chocolate truffles, and the gracious, sophisticated JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek has a weekend Romance Package (through March 31) that includes champagne and fresh strawberries, free parking, and a $25 room service credit starting at $249 per night - use rate code RMPF when booking.
