Gear Up for New Hope Gay Pride 2008

Tuesday April 3, 2007
One of loveliest (and queerest) little towns in Pennsylvania, New Hope has quietly developed a highly popular and quite vibrant GLBT Pride Festival over the past few years. On May 16 - 18, 2008, this charming Bucks County community on the Delaware River will celebrate its 5th Annual GLBT Pride Weekend. New Hope (along with its sister town of Lambertville, New Jersey) has become a wonderful gay getaway and weekend retreat over the past half century, as it lies just 70 miles from New York City and 40 miles from Philadelphia. I spent a very happy weekend there last June and will be writing about the community and its charms throughout the coming weeks.

Note: Although this blog was originally posted in April 2007, the information about New Hope Gay Pride in 2008 was updated on May 12, 2008.
